Role Summary 

Are you a hands-on marketer who enjoys turning ambitious ideas into campaigns that make a real local impact? Based in Madrid, you will join Hiscox’s European Marketing Excellence Hub and help bring our European marketing strategy to life, primarily supporting Iberia, with a particular focus on Spain and Portugal. 

This is a varied, high-visibility role for someone who combines creativity with strong execution. You will deliver campaigns, adapt content, support digital marketing activity, and organise engaging events and webinars. Working with colleagues across Europe, you will ensure our marketing is locally relevant, commercially effective and consistent with the Hiscox brand. 

You will also act as an important voice for the Iberian markets you support, sharing customer feedback, competitive developments and local opportunities to help shape stronger European marketing initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Campaign Delivery & Market Activation 

• Execute and adapt European marketing campaigns across Iberia, ensuring strong local relevance and consistent delivery. 

• Coordinate multi-channel marketing activities and continuously optimise performance through market insights and analytics. 

 

Content, Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement 

• Create and localise marketing content across key channels, including web, email, social media and marketing automation. 

• Partner with European Content and Digital teams to deliver engaging customer and broker experiences. 

 

Events & Stakeholder Management 

• Plan and deliver local events, webinars and partner initiatives. 

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers, agencies and business partners. 

 

Market Insight & European Collaboration 

• Represent Iberian market needs within the European Marketing team. 

• Share customer, competitor and market insights while contributing to best practices and marketing innovation across Europe.

• Experience in content, digital marketing, events and webinars.

• Collaborative attitude and strong interest in European markets. 

Experience & Qualifications 

• 5 years of marketing experience, ideally within an international, multi-market or B2B environment. 

• Proven experience executing campaigns and adapting marketing initiatives for local audiences. 

• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, content management systems and event organization. 

• Experience managing agencies or external partners would be an advantage. 

• Fluent professional English and Spanish are essential. 

• Portuguese, French or German would be a strong advantage.
