Position Summary
The Fulfillment & Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for leading warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment operations across facilities such as CFS, CY, inland depots, bonded warehouses, and other managed locations. This role combines operational leadership with people management, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of daily activities while driving productivity, service excellence, and business objectives. The position oversees workforce planning, resource allocation, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational performance and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of daily activities.
Manage and develop teams through hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and employee engagement.
Establish operational priorities, allocate resources, and coordinate workflows to meet service, productivity, and quality targets.
Drive operational excellence through process improvement initiatives, policy implementation, and best practice adoption.
Monitor performance metrics and operational results, taking corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
Resolve operational challenges by applying sound judgment, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
Support business plans and strategic objectives while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
Several years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, or supply chain operations.
Previous experience leading frontline or supervisory teams in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Demonstrated experience managing operational performance, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety, compliance, and operational best practices.
