Lead Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities for Business Development & Licensing (BD&L), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), strategic partnerships and other confidential transactions. Serve as the trusted risk advisor to deal teams to protect and enable strategic growth by delivering best-in-class third-party risk due diligence and risk advisory support for M&A, business development and licensing transactions, ensuring informed deal decisions, safeguarding enterprise value, protecting reputation and supporting sustainable business growth.

Position Purpose:

Lead Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities for Business Development & Licensing (BD&L), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), strategic partnerships and other confidential transactions. Serve as the trusted risk advisor to deal teams to protect and enable strategic growth by delivering best-in-class third-party risk due diligence and risk advisory support for M&A, business development and licensing transactions, ensuring informed deal decisions, safeguarding enterprise value, protecting reputation and supporting sustainable business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities: 

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Drive end-to-end third-party risk assessments across all transaction stages, from opportunity evaluation through deal closure and integration.
  • Ensure timely and risk-based execution of due diligence activities aligned with transaction timelines and business objectives
  • Engage and coordinate subject matter experts across Compliance, Anti-Bribery, Information Security, Data Privacy, Human Rights, Labour Rights, HSE, Business Continuity, Animal Welfare and other risk domains.
  • Consolidate risk findings into a holistic enterprise risk view for transaction stakeholders. Ensure consistency, quality and completeness of risk assessments across all deals.
  • Develop clear risk ratings, mitigation recommendations and risk acceptance proposals. Present key risks, mitigation plans and residual risk exposures to deal teams, governance committees and senior leadership to support investment and partnership decisions.
  • Ensure critical risk actions, contractual protections and remediation commitments are incorporated into transaction documentation.
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential transaction information with appropriate controls and governance. Operate effectively in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Provide ongoing oversight of significant residual risks and emerging issues impacting transaction value realization. Build strong relationships with BD&L, Corporate Development, M&A, Legal, Compliance, Finance and business leaders. Support regulatory, audit and governance requirements related to transaction risk management. Act as the primary TPRM lead for BD&L, M&A, licensing and partnership transactions.

What you’ll bring to the role: 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management or sourcing/procurement. Minimum 5 years experience supporting M&A, business development, licensing, joint ventures and strategic partnership transactions.
  • Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, due diligence processes, deal governance and integration activities.
  • Ability to assess, prioritise and communicate complex risk exposures in a business context. Strong consulting and advisory skills with the ability to balance business growth objectives and risk management requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesise complex due diligence findings into clear, concise and actionable recommendations for senior management and governance boards.
  • Strong programme and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple confidential, high-priority transactions simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.      Strong knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management and enterprise risk assessment preferred
