Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40 countries across different energy sectors. The team caters to the four business units.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team to consistently deliver high-quality engineering solutions and project deliverables on time, meeting customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Drive the implementation of engineering processes, tools, quality management systems (QMS), and LOM engineering frameworks, ensuring compliance with global standards and continuous process improvement.
  • Foster close collaboration with Operating Units, customers to ensure efficient execution of projects and tenders while promoting engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain project and tender resource forecasts, aligning team capacity with business demand through proactive workforce planning and close coordination with Operating Units Engineering Managers.
  • Take ownership of team organization, staffing, competency development, budget planning, and resource utilization to ensure sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor project and tender pipelines, anticipate resource requirements, and proactively allocate engineering resources to support business growth and successful project delivery.
  • Drive accountability for internal and external KPIs, ensuring engineering performance, quality, schedule adherence, customer satisfaction, and productivity targets are achieved.
  • Support project/tendering activities by providing technical leadership, engineering estimates, risk assessments, innovative solutions, and timely delivery of project/tender engineering deliverables.
  • Build a strong performance-driven culture through regular coaching, constructive feedback, development planning, and competency enhancement aligned with team and business strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization, digitalization, lessons learned implementation, and continuous improvement to enhance engineering efficiency, quality, and customer value.
  • Champion employee development through structured training, mentoring, technical knowledge-sharing sessions, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Effectively manage daily operational challenges, stakeholder expectations, and conflict situations to maintain a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Lead project scrum, daily and weekly follow-up meetings, and team review sessions to ensure transparency, timely issue resolution, risk mitigation, and alignment with project priorities.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous learning while enabling the team to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Master's degree in Power Systems with 8+ years of experience in a similar leadership role, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong experience in Substation Project Engineering, with sound understanding of primary, secondary, protection & control, communication, cybersecurity, and commissioning aspects of AIS and GIS substations.
  • Good knowledge of Hitachi Energy products, systems, engineering processes, and project delivery models, with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
  • Proven experience in people management, including team leadership, resource planning, performance management, competency development, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams delivering projects and tenders while ensuring quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction targets are achieved.
