Position Title - Assistant Beverage Operations Manager

Position Summary
The Assistant Beverage Operations Manager is an entry-level shipboard management position
designed for high-potential leaders within the Beverage Department. This role supports the day-today administration, cost control, inventory procedures, and operational oversight of the ship's
beverage program. It ensures the execution of all company standards, particularly related to
financial controls, USPH compliance, and inventory integrity.
This position acts as the primary administrator for systems such as CT Net Chef, InfoGenesis, and
is responsible for generating key reports, including Cost of Sales (COS), Daily Revenue, and
Inventory Cycle Counts. The Assistant Beverage Operations Manager plays a crucial part in routine
on-the-spot coaching, inventory spot checks, and financial auditing. All duties must be executed in
accordance with The Celebrity Way, company policies, and all Safety, Quality, and Environmental
regulations.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in food and beverage operations within upscale
hotels, cruise ships, or high-volume venues (shipboard experience preferred).
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong understanding of inventory control systems, cost analysis, and administrative procedures.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and inventory/POS systems.
Working knowledge of USPH and environmental safety standards.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Executes administrative functions, including end-of-voyage and turnaround reports, COS
analysis.
Manages systems including POS (InfoGenesis) and maintains all relevant inventory databases
and reporting.
Owner of Daily Cost of Sales and Revenue Reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to
the Beverage Operations Manager.
Conducts a minimum of 5 Beverage Package Audits daily, including guest folio checks for zerovalue transactions.
Responsible for Consumables & Replaceable (C&R) inventory and maintaining minimum par
levels.
Coordinates bi-monthly Inventory Cycle Counts, verifying physical stock and reconciling
discrepancies.
Investigates and reports on losses, spoilage, breakage, or inconsistencies in inventory.
Manages and reports Minibar spot checks with Housekeeping and handles Custom Declarations.
