Job Title: Dietary Aide – Part time - immediate hire
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
Summary
St. Catherine of Siena is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our food service team. This position is part-time with the opportunity to move into full-time based on availability and performance.
Responsibilities
· Assist with meal preparation and service
· Serve meals hot, on time, and courteously
· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
· Follow safety and infection control procedures
Qualifications
· Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
· Team-orientated with a respectful and compassionate attitude
· ServSafe certification preferred
· Willing to train for Food Handler Certification
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
· Graduate from a high school or GED
· Previous hospital or healthcare nutrition services experience preferred
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
· Can lift up to 40lbs
· Able to push / pull food carts and kitchen equipment
