Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team based in Latam South. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of client relationship management. This role will be responsible for managing key accounts, driving customer satisfaction, achieving revenue targets, and providing leadership and coaching to account management team members to support business growth and talent development.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Account Growth: Identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing client portfolios. Proactively propose solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and develop strategic plans to achieve them. Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and data analysis.
Project Management: Oversee the execution of client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with internal teams to meet client expectations.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on account performance metrics. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients and partners (Distributors), ensuring terms are favorable and align with company policies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
People Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers and/or Account Specialists. Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, performance management, goal setting, succession planning, and continuous professional development. Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention initiatives while promoting collaboration and accountability across the team.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 7–9 years of experience in account management, including experience leading, coaching, or mentoring teams. Experience in the Biotechnology industry is highly desirable.
