The opportunity
Based in Ballarat, we are seeking an Identity Onboarding Engineer to support the technical onboarding of applications into enterprise identity platforms.
This role focuses on helping application teams complete onboarding activities, troubleshoot integrations and transition into steady-state support, ensuring applications are integrated with identity services correctly and consistently.
You will work alongside identity engineers, platform teams and application owners to apply established onboarding patterns, resolve technical issues and contribute to repeatable and scalable onboarding processes.
Key responsibilities
Support the technical onboarding of applications to enterprise identity platforms.
Configure and validate identity connectors.
Complete attribute, role and entitlement mapping.
Verify identity, provisioning and access flows.
Assist application teams with integration requirements, configuration questions and issue resolution.
Support onboarding across identity governance, authentication and authorisation, and privileged access capabilities.
Troubleshoot provisioning, authentication and authorisation issues during onboarding and after deployment.
Execute established onboarding checklists, processes and technical patterns.
Maintain onboarding documentation, configuration records and support runbooks.
Support defect resolution and minor configuration changes under guidance.
Participate in technical handovers and hypercare following onboarding releases.
Escalate complex integration issues to identity engineers and relevant platform teams.
What you’ll bring
Experience in identity and access management, application integration, technical support or a related discipline.
Experience supporting application onboarding to enterprise technology platforms.
An understanding of identity governance, authentication, authorisation, provisioning or privileged access.
Experience troubleshooting technical configuration and integration issues.
The ability to interpret and follow technical onboarding patterns, standards and checklists.
Strong written documentation and record-management skills.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A collaborative, organised and detail-oriented approach.

Be Australian citizens.
Hold a current Australian Government security clearance.
Be able to work from Ballarat, Victoria.
