Membership Services Representative

The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), a non-profit women's membership organization, has a full-time opportunity for a Membership Services Representative to provide comprehensive membership and customer service support in a high-volume environment. This position will serve as the first point of contact for both members and the public

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer service professional who is looking to expand their work experience into the non-profit field.

Candidates with experience working in nonprofit organizations or associations and who have previous iMIS experience are highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide timely, accurate, and professional customer service through phone, email, mail, and other service channels.
• Perform a high volume of data entry to accurately reflect prospective members, existing member changes, and membership dues across multiple databases.
• Guides chapters, state organizations and volunteer leaders with membership records, reporting, and other administrative processes.
• Maintains membership records to accurately reflect information changes, dues payments, and any positions held within the Society.
• Will generate membership, chapter, and operational reporting on the current membership levels within the DAR.

Job Requirements:

• Strong experience in a member or client services capacity with a high volume of data entry and database management.
• A minimum of 2 years of member services, customer service, administrative operations, or related service-oriented experience is required.
• A strong attention to detail and quality control that allows the incumbent to accurately process a high volume of transactions.
• A demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently, confidentially, and collaboratively with a broad range of people.
• Well-developed problem-solving and organization skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.

Perks and Pay:

• Hiring range is between $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, based upon skills and experience.
