Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, brand strategies, go-to-market plans, and market development programs aligned with business objectives for assigned therapies and products.
- Evaluate market segments, treatment trends, customer journeys, unmet customer needs, reimbursement dynamics, policy developments, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
- Define product, therapy, and portfolio positioning strategies, including value proposition, messaging, branding direction, sales tools, HCP education content, and customer engagement priorities.
- Lead integrated online and offline marketing programs to support patient acquisition, patient retention, therapy awareness, healthcare professional education, and patient association engagement where applicable.
- Apply digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance marketing analysis, marketing effectiveness, campaign efficiency, customer engagement, content development, segmentation, performance tracking, and insight generation.
- Leverage data analytics, CRM insights, digital dashboards, market research, and defined KPIs to monitor campaign performance, identify market signals, and translate insights into timely actions and optimized business decisions.
- Lead policy-to-hospital tracking and execution by monitoring relevant healthcare policy, reimbursement, and access developments; mapping implications by hospital/account; aligning internal stakeholders; and ensuring disciplined follow-through with field teams.
- Work closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, regional/global marketing, and other support functions to coordinate execution and influence favorable market development outcomes.
- Build and manage strong relationships with KOLs, professional societies, patient associations, hospital stakeholders, government-related stakeholders, industry partners, and relevant external organizations to support therapy adoption and market shaping.
- Support pricing, reimbursement, and access strategy by integrating market insights, customer value, competitive landscape, policy signals, and financial analysis into clear business recommendations.
- Lead key strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives, including market research, digital platforms, AI-enabled marketing pilots, hospital-level implementation tracking, policy-shaping initiatives, and transform policy to drive account execution.
- Plan and execute marketing activities within the approved operating expense level, ensuring compliant execution, effective resource allocation, milestone tracking, and measurable business impact.
- Own disciplined project management for key initiatives by defining clear milestones, timelines, KPIs, owners, follow-up mechanisms, and regular progress reviews to ensure on-time and on-target delivery.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate strong business ownership, strategic thinking, analytical capability, stakeholder influence, and execution discipline.
- Strong understanding of healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or therapy-based market dynamics, including hospital decision-making, reimbursement, and access considerations.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in applying AI-enabled tools to enhance marketing effectiveness, content development, customer engagement, productivity, and performance optimization.
- Strong results orientation, commercial acumen, ownership mindset, collaboration, execution excellence, and experience in policy shaping or policy-related market development initiatives.
- Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in business, marketing, pharmacy, science, healthcare, or related field preferred.
- MBA or equivalent business education strongly preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry, including at least 3 years of people management experience.
- Experience in therapy development, reimbursement/access strategy, policy-related execution, KOL management, patient programs, digital/AI-enabled marketing, or cross-functional commercial initiatives is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working with regional or global teams is a plus.
