Injection Process Engineer

The Injection Molding Process Engineer owns process health, product quality, technical troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in the Injection Department. This floor-focused role monitors and corrects Husky injection molding processes, validates startups, maintains process standards, and partners with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance to deliver safe, stable, and efficient production.

You Will

• Monitor all process changes in the injection department, monitors process capabilities of equipment, validate equipment startups, monitors department held ware and scrap, and develops corrective actions to resolve department opportunities as needed.
• Monitor QAUTO, SPC data, process trends, etc daily and reacts accordingly; working with appropriate contacts in injection and/or other departments as needed.
• Serve as department’s technical process resource; maintains all technical documentation as required.
• Collaborate with appropriate associates to develop and execute training for injection department.
• Works with department to maintain and/or improve ISO standards, food safety defense program, and TPM objectives.

You Have

• High School diploma or GED; BS in Engineering field a plus.
• Knowledge of or previous experience in SPC, Quality programs, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Project management skills or capabilities
• Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills; including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, SAP, etc.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Able to build working relationships with all levels of the workforce as well as external customers.
