Senior HR Generalist

Reporting to the Human Resources Director at our corporate headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, you will serve as a trusted Human Resources partner to assigned corporate business functions, providing both strategic and operational support across talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development, and Human Resources program execution. You will collaborate closely with leaders and employees to drive business results through effective people strategies, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

 

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and employees to provide Human Resources consultation, guidance, and support aligned with business objectives.
• Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead the resolution of complex employee relations matters, including investigations, and partner with Legal and Human Resources Centers of Excellence as appropriate.
• Support organizational design, change management, succession planning, talent reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, and other Human Resources partners to deliver integrated solutions.
• Analyze workforce data and Human Resources metrics to identify trends, generate insights, and recommend actions that support business goals while supporting annual talent and compensation processes.

 

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations and Human Resources business partnership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, and other applicable federal and state employment laws.
• Demonstrated success building trusted relationships, influencing leaders, and balancing employee needs with organizational priorities in a dynamic corporate environment.
• Experience managing employee relations matters with sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism, coupled with strong consultation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging workforce data and metrics to drive business decisions.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems, including Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle Human Capital Management, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting corporate functions within a complex, matrixed organization and leading organizational change, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
