SUMMARY:
Plans, designs, implements, and supports the server systems, including Windows OS and server hardware, Linux OS, IBMi OS and hardware, Virtualization, and Active Directory for troubleshooting server problems and coordinating across the infrastructure and corporate landscape.
YOUR IMPACT:
Serves as an escalation point for advanced operational support and troubleshooting for the server environment Windows and Compute technologies, hardware, and environment
An advance understanding of multiple server aspects and environment in order to take ownership of most aspects from end to end.
Conducting triage and resolution of server issues and outages that arrive via ServiceNow requests that pertain to server hardware, server virtualization, and
Gaining ownership of 1 or more server aspects and projects
Communicating and coordinating with stakeholders for escalation related activities.
Actively forecasting needs from 6 months to 2 years and beginning the RPF or RFI process for this forecast.
Learning and adopting new technologies and best practices cloud, continuous integration, automation, and process improvement
Continuously monitor and analyze database ecosystem and capacity.
Cross functional team communicating and coordinating efforts for database, applications, and infrastructure activities.
Advance knowledge of the ITIL process, ticket resolution, and stakeholder response
Design, implement, and operate complex solutions.
Guide junior engineers and translate business needs into technical designs.
Actively supporting the advancement of the strategic roadmap
Cross team collaboration with business and information technology stakeholders, driving solutions design and development.
Maintain relationships with networking team, identity management, with storage and backup with some of the application leads team.
Other duties as assigned.
Regular attendance is required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Five (5) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Monitoring, troubleshooting, customer service, problem solving, cross team collaboration, risk analysis, analytical, operating systems, hardware, infrastructure design, scripting
Strong communication, time management, problem solving, teamwork, leadership, mentoring, project management, business acumen, requirements gathering, planning.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field.
Pay Range:
$92,600.00 - $154,400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
