Lonza Pharma & Biotech has an opening for an experienced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to join their Early Phase Clinical Manufacturing team. What You Will Do:
- Assist in production: Help manufacture clinical trial materials to support new pharmaceutical product development.
- Follow guidelines: Safely run production equipment and document your work according to standard procedures and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Learn the equipment: Train to become proficient in assembling, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery.
- Maintain workspaces: Perform routine cleaning of production areas and assist technicians with equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Support new projects: Participate in new product transfers and share hands-on feedback with the team.
- Help with setup: Assist engineers with the installation, startup, and testing of new manufacturing equipment.
- Review process data: Help gather and organize production data to support project goals and team decisions.
- Spot improvements: Learn the workflow to help identify simple ways to make daily operations smoother and more efficient.
- Draft documents: Help write and update simple work instructions, training guides, and basic technical reports.
- Maintain standards: Ensure all daily tasks strictly follow safety rules and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations.
- Report issues: Assist with basic investigations into equipment or process variations.
- Communicate clearly: Share daily updates and technical findings clearly with your team members and supervisors.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative team settings to hit daily production targets.
- Dedicated to lean principles, quality control, and rapid adaptation to new manufacturing processes.
- Strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines while managing hazardous materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Fully comfortable operating in controlled environment while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Capable of routine heavy lifting, material handling, and active equipment operation.
