Midwest Pain Clinics (MPC) provides specialized pain management services to patients throughout Omaha and the surrounding region. Our team focuses on identifying and treating the underlying causes of pain through advanced interventional procedures and comprehensive care. What You'll Do
As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll play an essential role in supporting physicians during fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and safe, compassionate patient care.
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment during procedures according to established protocols.
- Assist physicians with C-arm imaging and intraoperative radiologic procedures.
- Position patients and equipment appropriately to obtain accurate, high-quality images.
- Adjust and calibrate imaging equipment as needed to support diagnostic and procedural requirements.
- Apply radiation safety practices to protect patients and clinical staff.
- Communicate patient information and procedural updates accurately with nursing and clinical team members.
- Document patient information, procedure details, and required records accurately and promptly.
- Prepare and handle contrast-related materials according to established protocols.
- Maintain, clean, sterilize, and properly store radiology equipment and supplies.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report malfunctions or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and coordinate ordering of radiology supplies.
- Complete procedure logs, required documentation, and other administrative tasks related to imaging services.
Required
- Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited program.
- C-arm experience.
- Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credential in the state of practice.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- At least one year of healthcare experience.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Knowledge of current X-ray technology, procedures, and techniques.
- Experience in an outpatient, surgical, interventional, or pain management setting.
- Familiarity with computerized radiologic equipment and electronic recordkeeping systems.
- Microsoft Office or similar software experience.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout every procedure.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging practices.
- Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical professionals.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and coworkers.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a procedure-driven environment.
- Stay organized while managing equipment, documentation, and supplies.
- Apply sound judgment when addressing equipment or procedural concerns.
- Adapt comfortably to evolving technology and clinical workflows.
- Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a fast-paced setting.
