JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Rates Relative Value trading desk for a 2-month internship, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time role based on performance. The desk primarily trades rates RV across AUD/NZD, with additional coverage of EM Asia and select macro markets. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the mechanics of relative value trading while contributing directly to the team's day-to-day workflow

Responsibilities

• Monitor market levels across covered products
• Build analytical tools and scanners to identify rates RV opportunities
• Backtest potential trading strategies
• Summarize market events and sell-side commentary
• Support PnL reconciliation
• Support any other ad-hoc tasks as required

What We're Looking For

• Strong problem-solving skills and programming ability
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Interest in rates, macro, and relative value trading strategies
• Python Experience
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in a quantitative subject - preferably a focus in Computer Programming or Statistics
• Computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering
• Effective verbal and written communication
