Position Description:
Leads and directs the Warehouse Operations Team responsible for the coordination of product placement, storage, movement, loading / unloading of trucks, customer service, organization, cleanliness, and inventory control of donations at the ROC (Retail Operations Center) for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Monitors daily / weekly reports to understand inventory trends and Team Member performance. Must have strong adherence to all safety policies and ensure all required personal protective equipment is worn at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides feedback to Warehouse Operations Leadership on day-to-day operations in an effort to maintain and improve business efficiency and resolve problems.
- Assists manager with scheduling and controlling expenses.
- Ensures that inventory distribution and organization are as efficient as possible.
- Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to vendors and customers.
- Ensures ROC location is clean, well-kept, and reflects the Goodwill brand appropriately.
- Maintains the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse Operations Department including managing and meeting Team Member and customer needs.
- Communicates with ROC partner departments on status of equipment, product, staffing, and general information.
- Makes decisions on matters relating to the day-to-day operation within his/her defined work area.
- Prepares daily work assignments; determining equipment needs, staffing needs, and product placement to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensures standards for quality services are met, conducts forklift operator audits, monitors team progress throughout the day and adjusts accordingly, and develops strategies for improvement.
- As needed, operates a forklift and maintains forklift certification.
- Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
- Assists with building a high-performing team and creating a culture of safety.
- Responsible for assisting with performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
- Plays critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.
- Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.

- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years supervisory experience or equivalent work experience, required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate others.
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
- Qualified, or ability to become a qualified, Forklift Operator.
- Familiarity with OSHA Regulations regarding Warehouse Operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
