Job Description

As a Security Officer Medical Access Control in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, exterior perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
