Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are required to be onsite according to the schedule set by your management.
Staff members in this position, under general supervision, performs general maintenance, construction, and troubleshooting on various systems such as carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, building automation systems, access control, and security hardware throughout the facility. This position is an essential function of the Bank and in the event of an emergency or crisis situation, the incumbent will be required to work extended hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists with installation of a variety of mechanical and electrical systems such as transformers, switchboards, controllers, breakers, HVAC equipment and circuits to support facility maintenance, renovations, and construction.
Assists with preventive and corrective electrical maintenance and repairs to facility generation and transmission equipment.
Assists with installation of all upgrades to the facility electrical, electronic and security systems, and capital projects, updates internal communication systems such as telephone, fiber optic and category 6 LANs to support latest technologies.
Complies strictly with local fire protection codes, state building codes, national electrical code and national life safety code.
Assists with scheduled and necessary inspection, repair, testing, and monitoring of systems, identifies and implements corrective actions and repairs to mitigate operational irregularities of critical equipment.
Assists with proper equipment operation by completing preventive and urgent maintenance in a timely fashion.
Assists in the collection of logs of specified equipment. Assists other departments and trades as required, including Cash Department, carpenters, mechanics, electricians, or others as designated. Assists in the maintenance of automated material handling equipment.
Performs all duties in strict adherence to OSHA and building safety requirements.
Utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to complete work orders in a timely manner.
Assists with basic troubleshooting and repairs of a routine nature such as replacing bulbs, electrical outlets, switch covers, sprinkler and drapery escutcheons, ceiling tiles, bathroom fixtures, and building and furniture hardware as examples.
Assists with scheduled routine inspections, service, and preventive maintenance for ladders, fire extinguishers, emergency eye wash and shower stations, door hardware, soap dispensers, and draperies as examples.
Assist with installation of simple office apparatus, assists in creating and applying signage. Assists as needed with room setups, snow/ice removal and inclement weather clean up.
Operates forklifts, bucket lifts, wood working tools, and machinery such as drill press, table saw, router, and sander.
Other general and/or miscellaneous duties/assignments as directed by Bank management, such as, events and tenant support efforts.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED; 1 year equivalent experience preferred
Experience: Less than two years

Additional Requirements:
This position will require at minimum fingerprinting for a criminal background check, education and employment verification, along with potential additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of any required background screening. These screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to approximately 8 weeks to be completed. The screening covers areas such as education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reaches out to your references and people that know you well.
For Law Enforcement positions, physical, psychological, drug, stress/EKG, and attending an academy will be required.
