Position Summary:
Under general direction from the Security Dispatch Supervisor, ensures the safety and protection of casino patrons, employees, and assets in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Responsible for receiving and coordinating security-related calls, dispatching security officers to incidents and monitoring security systems. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attends and participates in all security briefings and staff meetings.
- Answer calls from patrons, Team Members, or security personnel reporting security concerns, incidents or emergencies.
- Evaluate the severity of each call to determine the appropriate response, including whether to dispatch security officers, contact emergency services, or initiate other necessary actions.
- Assign the most suitable security personnel to respond to each incident based on location, situation and available officers.
- Actively monitor CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm panels, and other security technology to identify potential threats or suspicious activity.
- Maintain clear communication with security officers on the ground, providing updates on incidents and coordinating responses.
- Documenting all security incidents, including details of the event, actions taken, and involved personnel.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure coordinated responses to security issues.
- Gather critical information from callers to effectively dispatch security personnel.
- Communicate clearly and calmly with security officers during active incidents.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and security protocols.
- Troubleshoot technical issues within the dispatch center.
- Perform essential functions of the Security Command Center, which include but are not limited to: Monitoring of surveillance and life safety systems; radio and phone communication, call dispatching functions, report writing, notifications, and communications with TMPD.
- Responsible for prioritizing calls regarding life safety and protection of property.
- Provide clear direction, instruction and guidance to guests/employees. Listen and respond to all inquiries in a positive and professional manner.
- Dispatch Security Officers to calls for service and coordinate department breaks.
- Responsible for communication to Security Management ensuring that information is shared in a prompt and proper manner.
- Dispatch Officers in a calm demeanor to any/all emergency situations that may arise, i.e., bomb threats, fire alarms, medical calls, verbal/physical altercations and crimes in progress.
- Pro-actively monitor the surveillance, life safety and alarms systems on continual basis.
- Follows applicable TMCR company policies and procedures including Security Operations policies & procedures.
- Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
- Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required unless waived by Human Resources Management. Previous experience as a Security Dispatcher preferred. Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Previous Casino and guest experience preferred. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may need to physically restrain individual(s) during physical disturbances.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be exposed to cigarette smoke. The work environment is noisy and the employee will work indoors and outdoors. Work performed in areas with temperatures in excess of 115° and as cold as 15° (exposed to all weather conditions).
