What is the opportunity?
The Senior Manager, Corporate Client Group (CCG) Business Management is a high-impact operational and strategic enabler that balances executive partnership, financial stewardship, compliance leadership, workforce planning, and external engagement - ensuring the CCG Region Head can focus on business growth while operational excellence and governance are maintained. The role is a regional role and part of the CCG Region Head support team that also includes an Executive Assistant and Regional Enablement Coach.
What will you do?
Serve as the primary operational and strategic partner to the Region Head, providing dedicated support across business priorities and decision-making
Chair and coordinate Region Head Senior Management Team meetings and lead Quarterly Business Review package preparation for Regional President meetings and Commercial Banking Operating Committee
Own regional business and financial oversight to support growth and accountability, including managing Non-Interest Expenses, monitoring sales planning, business performance metrics, and providing cost-savings analysis and operational consulting to Region Head
Lead operational effectiveness, governance, and compliance across the region
Work with CCG Operations and Corporate Real Estate, managing real estate and premises needs and coordination across the region
Partner with Shared Services and CCG Strategic Planning to build workforce capability, including coordinating regional workforce and FTE planning, forecasting, recruitment, and vacancy monitoring
Collaborate with Regional Office to drive regional communications, brand visibility, and internal/external stakeholder engagement through effective event coordination and strategic messaging
What do you need to succeed?
5+ years of broad-based business experience, ideally including experience in commercial banking
Strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all organizational levels, fostering collaboration and alignment on key initiatives
Strong financial acumen, including budget management and performance metric analysis
Effective time management and organizational skills
Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs
Nice to have
Operations leadership experience, including oversight of business performance and operational risk
Strong understanding of CCG
