Sanitation Technologist

Job Purpose

Sanitation technologist is responsible for ensuring GMP standard and Sanitation standard are implemented and continuously improved to assure quality and food safety at the local, protecting the Consumer and Brand Quality. The role is responsible for the management of the shopfloor GMP and Sanitation program, included verification plan to support the program.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for GMP standard and Sanitation standard implementation at site and compliance through internally and externally verified audits.
• Verification of standards compliance through a robust self- assessment auditing program and corrective/preventative action process.
• GMP and Sanitation compliance leader for operation. 
• Coordinate inputs and compile Q&FS review with site Q&FS team. 
• Manage verification effectiveness of cleaning and sanitizing program to ensure cleaning and sanitizing conducted by the qualified person and result meet the criteria every cleaning and sanitizing.
• Role model the application of Mars safety standards in order to safeguard our associates and the assets we use, follow safe work practices and comply with all Mars Environmental, Safety & Health policies and procedures at all times.
• Accountable for develop and implement Master sanitation schedule (MSS) to ensure associate who work in factory understand how important of 100% MSS completion.
• Accountable for develop training package and train all operation associate& contractor to ensure operation associate and contractor understand how importance of Salmonella management, GMP. 
• Monitoring and supervision of associate & suppliers on hygiene performance ensure that all associate & suppliers who perform any work on site comply with Mars ESH & Quality Standards.
• Approval authority for cleaning & Sanitization validation protocols & reports to ensure on completion of validation of leaning procedure, sanitization procedure, cleaning & sanitizing agent.
• Response for RCA as per MARS methodology.
• Ensuring effective communication and consultation with all relevant stakeholders. Escalation to site leadership team on the GAP that require attention.

Context and Scope

• To ensure the quality and food safety of the site’s activities. The senior Sanitation will implement self-assessment audit program and identify and train local associates for auditing.
• In the event of a non-conformance resulting in product impact, the senior Sanitation will be responsible for the management of the incident by coordinated with Q&FS technologists.
• The Sanitation will provide recommendations for issues of GMP, Sanitation compliant, especially verification activities for the process.  
• The key challenge of the position is maintained on-floor GMP and Sanitation conformances, including Good hygiene behaviour in a variety of peoples; Contractor, operation associate, reli associate, engineering associate and others that require to entry dry factory.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Microbiology, Food science or related discipline.
• Good understanding of GMP/HACCP AND Salmonella management.
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis.
• Strong delivery focus, task orientated and sees through actions to completion.
