Wasatch LabsKey Responsibilities
- Equipment Care: Run preventive maintenance schedules, fix broken machines quickly, and oversee smooth line changeovers for different cosmetic batches.
- Team Guidance: Train, mentor, and guide daily tasks for shift mechanics and technicians.
- Safety and Quality Compliance: Enforce strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) safety protocols, and OSHA rules.
- Cross-Team Communication: Partner with production and quality control teams to prioritize workflow and report equipment status.
- Inventory Control: Monitor spare parts, tools, and supplies to prevent supply delays during urgent repairs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical trade certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a fast-paced process or packaging manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Soft Skills: Clear communication, leadership abilities, and basic computer skills (CMMS software, Microsoft Outlook/Excel).
