Raytheon is seeking a Sr Logistics Technician to perform a wide variety of tasks related to Logistics operations with a focus on processing inbound dock receipts (Loading Dock).  

What You Will Do

  • Process inbound dock receipts at the loading dock.

  • Accept deliveries from carriers.

  • Inspect incoming material for physical damage.

  • Verify material against incoming documentation such as packing slips, invoices, and government or customer documents.

  • Enter receipt data into receiving systems.

  • Assist with outbound packing and shipping of materials and equipment.

  • Maintain functional records to support internal and external audits.

  • Participate in internal and external audits and assist with resolving nonconformance issues.

  • Follow company and OSHA safety requirements.

  • Lift up to 23 pounds and carry the load for 40 feet.

  • Perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

  • Manage shifting priorities and complete tasks within required timeframes.

  • This position will be on-site at our Dulles, VA location.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or inventory environment.

  • Experience communicating effectively, both written and verbal, with internal customers and teammates.

  • Office 365 Experience, specifically in Word and Excel.


Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Forklift Certification, with the ability to become Raytheon forklift certified.

  • Experience with Special Program Access Inventory Management/Warehouse Management system transactions.

  • Experience or certified in DOT Hazmat / IATA Dangerous Goods.

  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret or higher clearance level or program access after start date.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Security Clearance: This position requires a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 47,700 USD - 90,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
