Overview
We are looking for a Principal Statistician with 8+ years of experience in RWE/HEOR, strong oncology expertise, solid epidemiology and observational study experience, proven publication support capabilities, and strong client-facing skills. SAS is required; experience with healthcare databases (claims, EMR, registries) is essential. In this role, you will be fully-utilising your technical skills, but you will also be serving as a lead biostatistician. The successful candidate will work within a global team, using their project management and project leadership skills.
This role is full-time and fully-remote. The successful candidate will be based in the UK, France, Spain or Germany.

Qualifications
- Educated to MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in RWE and/or HEOR studies
- Strong experience in oncology
- Strong, demonstrable SAS skills
- Proven experience leading observational research studies from design to delivery
- Solid understanding of epidemiology, statistical methodologies, real-world data (RWD), and observational study design
- Experience developing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and providing methodological guidance on study design, patient cohorts, demographics, clinical variables, and lines of therapy
- Experience supporting scientific publications, manuscripts, and evidence generation activities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret results and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders
- Experience working with secondary healthcare data sources, such as claims databases, electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), and patient registries
- Experience with US healthcare databases and real-world data sources is advantageous
- Knowledge of European databases such as CPRD and disease registries is advantageous
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills is advantageous
- Demonstrated project leadership and/or project management experience is advantageous
- Educated to PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related discipline is advantageous
