Leominster backend operations and design site develops, packages, assembles,
tests, and screens semiconductors, ICs, and modules to meet the rigors of outer
space and other harsh environments.
The position is onsite and reports to the Process Engineering Manager. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Process Support :
Maintain visible presence on the manufacturing floor to support operators
and technicians with sustaining manufacturing activities Equipment Operation :
Operate and qualify complex backend semiconductor equipment for continuous
improvement experiments and qualifications Experiment Design :
Plan and execute experiments to commission, optimize, and qualify
equipment and processes Process Definition :
Define optimal equipment operating windows and create standard work for
safe and proper use Problem Solving :
Troubleshoot assembly and mechanical screening issues using structured
root cause analysis and SME collaboration Continuous Improvement : Participate in and implement Lean or Six Sigma
improvement projects with hands-on application Documentation :
Produce CAD drawings, process documentation, and support SPC integration
for proper data collection Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Education:
Minimum of 2 years progress toward BS in Mechanical Engineering or
Materials Science, senior students graduating within a year preferred Technical Skills:
Comfort operating lab/manufacturing equipment Software:
Proficient with MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity
with JMP preferred Experience: co-op/intern experience
preferred but not required Problem Solving:
Detail-oriented with methodical approach to analyze data and draw
conclusions Communication:
Strong verbal and written skills to convey information across
organizational levels Work Style:
Self-starter who adapts quickly, takes initiative, and is available for
on-site work Six-month commitment :
Candidate must be able and willing to commit to a six-month on-site
assignment Eligibility:
