Job Description

As a Security Officer Radio Operations in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm activity, document incidents, and dispatch resources as needed. Your calm, customer-focused approach will help support a welcoming environment and timely response to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, and communications systems; dispatch appropriate personnel and document activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with onsite personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift records, escalating unusual activity and operational concerns to appropriate leadership.
• Support security-related operations by monitoring facility activity, providing directions and information, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
