Job Scope
Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and systems to maximize equipment availability, process capability, and production yield. This role conducts preventive and corrective maintenance, performs equipment failure analysis, drives equipment upgrades and process improvements, and develops technical documentation to support reliable operations. The successful candidate applies strong technical expertise to solve moderately complex problems independently and may provide guidance to technicians or junior team members.
Responsibilities
• Requires conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and developing knowledge of related job disciplines.
• Has developed a detailed understanding of key business drivers through multiple years of experience.
• May supervise or act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Has the ability to understand and influence.
• Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team.
• Begins to work independently with minimal to moderate guidance.
• Analyzes potential solutions to problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects) using experience, judgment and precedents.
• Work requires judgment and consideration of future implications beyond the immediate problem.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above, with good English communication skills.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in non-standard automation production line projects;
• Familiar with MES or other related manufacture system, excellent skills in cost control (spare parts, energies and manpower)
• Proficient in manipulators, industrial robots, and vision systems, with strong programming capabilities in related software;
• Skilled in electrical system design, cost estimation, team management, and project coordination;
• Proficient in commonly used design software, including SolidWorks or AutoCAD;
• Capable of independently managing project initiation, planning, execution, and production ramp-up implementation, following up process stability validation, leading cross-functional collaboration, and demonstrating strong communication and risk identification skills;
• MNC experience is preferred
