The Vice President, Strategic Planning, Advisory & New Product Introduction leads the development and execution of Mexico’s growth strategy and serves as a strategic partner and Chief of Staff to the Country Head. The role integrates strategic planning, commercial excellence, strategic advisory, pricing, new product introduction, and connected vehicle solutions to accelerate profitable growth, strengthen data-driven decision-making, and deliver differentiated value to clients and prospects. The position leads cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution and ensures that commercial and product decisions are supported by disciplined governance, market insight, and financial rigor.
Strategic Planning and Chief of Staff
• Co-create the Mexico strategy and long-term growth plans with the Country Head and senior leadership team, translating enterprise priorities into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Serve as Chief of Staff to the Country Head, coordinating strategic priorities, executive governance, cross-functional decision-making, and follow-up on key commitments.
• Lead annual strategic and financial planning processes, including market and competitor intelligence, financial tracking, executive presentations, and performance reviews.
• Identify, prioritize, and oversee critical cross-functional initiatives, ensuring milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and expected benefits are actively managed. • Use business, client, operational, and market data to identify strengths, opportunities, and efficiencies and to guide business evolution.
Commercial Excellence and Sales Force Effectiveness
• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals to accelerate growth, strengthen pipeline quality, and reinforce commercial discipline.
• Partner with Sales and Client teams on market insights, lead generation, segmentation, targeting, Salesforce effectiveness, and performance management tools.
• Lead commercial process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, client experience, and customer-facing outcomes.
• Monitor key commercial and Salesforce metrics, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions and adoption of best practices.
Strategic Advisory and Client Value Creation
• Lead the Strategic Advisory team in delivering insight-led, client-facing solutions that identify and action savings, improve fleet performance, and differentiate Element in the market.
• Partner with clients and prospects to translate data and market intelligence into strategic recommendations and measurable value.
• Ensure advisory engagements support client retention, growth, Net Promoter Score, and expansion of Element’s strategic relationships.
Pricing and Portfolio Profitability
• Own the Mexico pricing strategy and governance framework, ensuring pricing models are competitive, financially sound, and aligned with risk and profitability objectives.
• Provide strategic and financial guidance on deal economics, portfolio performance, and pricing enhancement opportunities.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Risk, and Operations teams to improve pricing discipline and optimize portfolio profitability.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, data analytics, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred, ideally an MBA, finance, strategy, or related graduate degree.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, commercial strategy, product development, pricing, consulting, or a related discipline, including senior people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing client growth strategies, driving growth through new product introductions, improving commercial effectiveness, and designing pricing models that increase revenue and profitability.
• Experience using data and market insight to create differentiated client value; fleet, mobility, financial services, or B2B services experience preferred.
• English and Spanish fluency required.
