Financial Advisor
Location: Western Cape (Cape Town / Winelands)
Employment Type: Commission-based, with the potential for a base salary depending on the remuneration structure.

A leading financial services organisation is seeking experienced Financial Advisors to provide professional financial planning and relationship banking services to affluent and high-net-worth clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for client-focused financial professionals who are passionate about building trusted relationships, delivering tailored financial advice, and helping clients grow, protect, and preserve their wealth through personalised investment, retirement, insurance, estate, and trust planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients.
- Deliver holistic financial planning across investments, life products, retirement planning, estate planning, and trust solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and relationship building.
- Provide tailored financial solutions aligned with each client's financial goals and objectives.
- Maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing advisory engagement and financial reviews.
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, banking regulations, and internal governance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal specialists across investment, credit, and estate structuring to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates with either of the following backgrounds will be considered:
Relationship Banking Financial Advisors
- 3–5+ years' continuous industry experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or relationship banking.
- NQF 6 FSB-approved qualification.
- RE5 qualification completed.
- 120 FAIS credits.
- CFP qualification will be advantageous.
- Commercial and Industrial banking knowledge will be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fit and Proper for the applicable licence categories.
- FSP licence from a previous employer.
Everyday Banking Financial Advisors
- Minimum 2 years' continuous industry experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or relationship banking.
- NQF 5 FSB-approved qualification.
- RE5 qualification completed.
- 120 FAIS credits.
- CFP qualification will be advantageous.
- Proof of minimum annual commission earnings of approximately R30,000 per month.
- Fit and Proper for the applicable licence categories.
- FSP licence from a previous employer.
