Why this is an exciting opportunity
Support the delivery of the Trustee Business Plan and SPS 515 strategy by providing effective oversight and assurance of material service providers, to support compliant operational practice and positive member outcomes.
Support in the independent oversight and assurance to the Trustee Board on governance requirements to ensure that decisions, implementation and outcomes are underpinned by robust processes, clear accountabilities, effective controls and timely escalation consistent with regulator expectations.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the development and maintenance of evidence, analysis and reporting required for SPS 515 member outcomes assessments, including coordination of inputs from service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Analyse service provider reporting, member outcome metrics and assurance results to identify emerging trends, gaps and risks impacting member outcomes.
- Prepare reports and papers that clearly articulate outcomes impacts, issues and recommended actions for management and trustee committees.
- Undertake desktop and deep-dive reviews of material service providers to assess performance, controls and compliance with the oversight framework.
- Support CPS 230 and ORFR obligations by monitoring incidents, business continuity and disaster recovery testing, control weaknesses and remediation activities.
- Review service level reporting, member outcomes assessments, incident and audit findings, complaints and other assurance outcomes, ensuring appropriate actions are in place to improve operational performance and resilience.
- Track remediation activities and follow up management actions, escalating overdue or ineffective actions where required.
- Support product governance activities by reviewing product changes, assurance outcomes and service provider impacts against DDO, RIC and Target Market Determination (TMD) obligations.
- Contribute to governance forums and reporting by providing oversight insights, assurance outcomes and findings to support trustee decision-making.
- Review controls and processes supporting member communications and disclosures, oversee issue resolution, and contribute to reporting on communication-related incidents, trends and remediation outcomes.
