German Speaking Financial Account (Hybrid)

A growing retail network operating over 145 locations is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant – Treasury & Payment Operations. This position provides end-to-end ownership over high-volume transaction processing and liquidity control in a fast-paced environment with short decision-making channels and a collaborative culture.

The role features a hybrid work arrangement following onboarding, a total package of €45,000 – €65,000 gross p.a., and long-term stability.

Core Responsibilities

• Payment Execution: Direct daily high-volume transaction processing across various financial accounts.
• Ledger Management: Monitor and reconcile AP and AR balances continuously.
• Lease Verification: Oversee monthly rental payment reconciliations across all locations.
• Liquidity Planning: Draft and maintain rolling cash flow projections over short and medium terms.
• Treasury Operations: Oversee bank accounts, credit facilities, and multi-bank financial structures.
• Variance Resolution: Investigate and resolve accounting, booking, and transaction discrepancies.
• Internal Advisory: Serve as the internal point of contact for payment workflows.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory Criteria

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, treasury, AP/AR, or payment management.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong background in account reconciliations, cash management, liquidity planning, and accounting workflows.
• Systems: Proficiency with standard accounting platforms (e.g., DATEV, Addison) and payment software (e.g., windata).
• Languages: Fluent German skills (C1/C2 level).
• Education: Completed commercial training (e.g., Industrial Management Assistant, Banking Specialist, Tax Assistant) or equivalent practical background; a university degree is optional.

Preferred Criteria

• Direct practical experience with Addison and windata.
• Background handling multi-branch retail models or multi-entity corporate setups.
