About Maddox + You:
As a Maddox OEM Purchasing Representative, you will report to the Supplier Relations Manager, under direction of the OEM Purchasing Team Lead, in a fast-paced and highly dynamic procurement environment. Your work will focus on forging/improving supplier relationships, mitigating supply risks, and ensuring profitability through consistent transformer production, quality, and delivery.
You will manage a designated portfolio of strategic OEMs, engaging in pricing and production capacity negotiations, as well as in quality/service compliance audits. As a result, you will have direct responsibility for ensuring that Maddox continuously procures the “right” units, from the “right” OEMs, in the “right” quantities–all at the “right” time to meet our customers’ expectations. Additionally, you will have exciting opportunities to assist the Supplier Relations Manager and OEM Purchasing Team Lead in representing Maddox at select high-profile trade shows. You will also get to visit and onboard new suppliers, as the needs of our business continuously expand.
Your day-to-day activities will involve reviewing customer order specifications and OEM approval drawings to ensure supplier compatibility. You will also closely collaborate with Maddox OEM Purchase Order Coordinators in uncovering and solving supply-related issues. When necessary, you will facilitate resolution meetings between OEMs and our various internal stakeholders. When significant order milestones are reached, or roadblocks are encountered, you will be responsible for notifying our affected Customer Service, Sales, and Leadership teams and working with them to provide solutions.
