What you'll do...

Role Summary: The Item Lifecycle (ILC) team serves as the operational foundation of product execution at Sam's Club. We oversee and optimize key item processes from creation through retirement, ensuring data accuracy, efficient replenishment, and seamless supply chain execution. Through cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and operational excellence, we help deliver the right products to the right place at the right time for our members.
About the Team: The Item Lifecycle (ILC) team plays a critical role in ensuring products are successfully delivered to Sam’s Club members by managing the end-to-end lifecycle of every item. Working closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Inventory, Digital, and Supplier partners, the team oversees item setup, maintenance, costing, and execution to ensure accuracy and operational effectiveness. Through strong cross-functional collaboration, the team supports product availability, drives operational efficiency, and enhances the member experience. By maintaining high-quality data, optimizing scalable processes, and ensuring seamless execution, ILC contributes to business growth, member satisfaction, and continuous improvement across item lifecycle operations.
Location: This position will be fully onsite in Bentonville, AR.

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that improve member satisfaction and drive operational efficiency.
  • Analyze the financial impact of product decisions, including profit and loss performance, cost optimization, and supply chain considerations.
  • Manage data quality initiatives through data profiling, validation, and accuracy improvements to support informed business decisions.
  • Partner with suppliers and supply chain stakeholders to resolve performance issues, improve service levels, and optimize inventory flow.
What You'll Bring:
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, leveraging tools and methodologies to uncover insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Experience evaluating profit and loss performance through cost analysis, financial modeling, and business impact assessments.
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations, collaborating with internal and external partners to optimize inventory management and logistics performance.
  • Expertise in data quality management, including data profiling, validation, governance, and cleansing initiatives to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, effectively partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement through process optimization and the adoption of digital tools and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
