In this team you will be working with our sophisticated financial software solutions. You will be the essential link between investment professionals and FactSet's software. Combining a thorough understanding of finance and technology with specific expertise in the FactSet platform, you will help clients streamline the research and analysis process. As part of this fantastic team, you will offer an unparalleled level of service along with insight into the intricacies and functionality of the FactSet platform. FactSet's business is based on 3 main pillars: Data, Software and Services. You will be part of the vital Services team that supplements the Data and Software business of our company.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Specialty Services Lead to join our Middle Office Managed Services team in the USA – an individual who is enthusiastic, intellectually curious and takes pride in the work they do. We offer the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the FactSet Core Analytics products suite and solutions by bridging the gap between investment and software professionals. The role requires collaborative partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders including client representatives, sales, product specialists and engineers.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Client Retention & Support: Lead Specialty Services retention efforts through both reactive and proactive client support, time-intensive projects, and complex problem solving. Proactively prioritize requests, issues and problems to ensure the smooth execution of clients' production processes and workflows. Analyze and resolve complex business issues related to clients' investment portfolios, financial data, analytics, and workflows, with close collaboration with the middle and front office of institutional asset managers, wealth managers and asset owners.
Best Practices & Product Enhancement: Actively contribute to and validate best-practices initiatives, product improvements, and workflow enhancements for specialty clients. Leverage excellent knowledge of FactSet product functionalities, methodologies, and industry-specific principles to deliver creative solutions and optimizations across implementations, managed services, and consultancy engagements.
Commercial Growth: Maintain a commercial focus to identify opportunities for regional ASV growth within Managed Services. Apply a strong aptitude for gathering and understanding requirements to address client-specific business needs efficiently and identify areas for expanded engagement.
Internal Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with, mentor, train, and support other client-facing teams at FactSet, while acting as a subject matter expert escalation point for internal teams such as Support and Sales. Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Consulting, Product, Engineering, and Strategy.
Industry Knowledge & Thought Leadership: Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the asset management industry, current market trends, and economic factors to maintain a competitive edge and advance Specialty Services value-add strategies.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7–9+ years of relevant experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Technical and application knowledge

Knowledge of financial products and instruments
Proficiency in Excel and financial formulas
Enthusiasm for working closely with investment professionals
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

Beneficial Skills:
Financial background in the Asset Management industry
Genuine interest in capital markets and portfolio management
Experience with Performance Measurement & Attribution, or Risk Management
Interest and affinity to work with software, data and analytics
Financial instruments pricing knowledge, including standard Stock and Bonds assets as well as derivative products such as Options, Futures, Swaps (e.g. CDS, IRS, TRS), Structured Products, etc.
Python and data science skills would be considered a plus
Participation in the CFA Program or FRM Program

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
The budgeted salary range for this position in the state of California, Connecticut, and New York is $106,000-$120,000.
