We are looking for an experienced technical engineer (Senior Discipline Engineer) capable of leading complex engineering projects with high levels of innovation. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can tackle challenging engineering problems, mentor other engineers, and drive innovation and efficiency in alignment with the Group's strategic objectives.
As a key member of our R&D center, you will be responsible for the complete validation process of radar systems. Your mission is to ensure that test systems fully cover customer requirements, tests are executed with the highest quality, and results are consistent with the global System Release strategy.
Main Tasks & Activities
Specification & Planning: Define system test cases and strategies, analyze system requirements, and ensure 100% test coverage.
Execution & Analysis: Perform system tests, analyze internal and external incidents/tickets, and ensure the reliability and consistency of test results.
Test Environment Development: Ensure test bench readiness for each release, develop tools for system analysis and testing, and support initial system start-ups including integration tests.
Technical Leadership: Serve as a referent for critical problem-solving (using methodologies like QRQC), perform peer reviews of technical documentation, and validate design standards.
Innovation & Efficiency: Actively participate in the digitalization roadmap, utilize scripts or AI tools to enhance efficiency, and identify patentable inventions to protect intellectual property.
Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical solutions to internal and external customers, collaborate across R&D departments (HW, SW, Mechanics), and participate in occasional business trips as required.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Discipline Engineering activities (ideally within the automotive industry or relevant sectors).
Technical Expertise: Proven track record in system testing, understanding of software development processes, and experience with requirements management and monitoring tools.
Education & Skills: Strong technical background, analytical mindset, and the ability to take decisive action in complex situations.
Languages: Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) for daily international collaboration.
Tools: Proficiency in using relevant software tools; programming/scripting skills for automation are highly desirable.
