Role: Senior Underwriter - Professional Indemnity
Location: London
Position: Full time, permanent

Our underwriters are at the heart of everything we do, and this is a key role within a small, dynamic team.
MS Amlin has been a long term participant in the Lloyd's casualty market and has offered professional indemnity solutions for over 30 years. The book is a diverse portfolio of international (non US) professional liability business, covering a variety of professions across a number of industry sectors.
The business we write is deliberately non commoditised, allowing us to differentiate through product, underwriting approach and claims proposition. The loss profile is typically low frequency but potentially high severity, with limited systemic exposure and limited correlation with economic and property market cycles. We prefer a primary or lead position, where we can get closer to the client and drive the client experience from product design through to claims management.
