CDS Sales Manager CAN
Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth for CDS Canada by expanding and strengthening customer relationships and collaborating with retail partners within the assigned region. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role manages the sales strategy for the CDS Sales team to achieve defined corporate objectives by providing valuable insights about consumer profiles and trends. We aim to consistently exceed expectations in our knowledge and our attentiveness to their overall business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative service capabilities and leverage existing customer relationships to access new and extended business opportunities
- Conduct coaching, motivation and counseling with the Sales team
- Build, grow and manage outstanding relationships with Vendors, Brokers, and Buyers
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales in the creating and execution of the annual strategic business plan
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred
- 5+ years of related sales experience with strong customer focus
- 2 + years’ experience managing people
- Very strong leadership, relationship building, customer focus and project management skills
- Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills
- Highly proficient user of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task across multiple projects and customers
- Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills with the capability to present to the top executive levels of any organization
- Bilingual English and French (Preferred)

Position Summary The Sales Manager is responsible to establish relationships with strong customer focus and collaborate with our retail partners within the region assigned. S/he will provide valuable insights about consumer profiles and trends and consistently exceed their expectations in our knowledge and our attentiveness to their overall business needs. This role will collaborate with the Director of Sales in the creation and execution of the annual strategic business plan and interface with a diverse group of people across the organization.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Achieve assigned quantitative and qualitative sales goals and company imperatives• Create and conduct sales presentations• Identify cross-selling opportunities• Up sell CDS service capabilities – training, POP program, Brand Ambassadors, etc. • Create new demo platforms• Seek incremental volume opportunities• Utilize sales tools (Retail Logic and other reports) to keep Costco informed of the business climate and business to date
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct Reports- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
Indirect Reports- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements
- Travel and Driving are essential duties and function of this job - Travel up to 10 %

Environmental & Physical Requirements Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 kg.
