Fulfills DRP Orders to meet customer requirements and to achieve company objectives for customer service, quality, and delivery metrics.

Scope of Position

Fulfills DRP Orders to meet customer requirements and to achieve company objectives for customer service, quality, and delivery metrics. 

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review printed orders, locating required materials in warehouse, material acquisition, and pre-packing of materials in preparation for shipping
  • Following published procedures to ensure employee safety, order fulfillment accuracy, quality and productivity to ensure achievement of all company/divisional goals
  • Interfaces with Drainage sales, customer service, and warehouse staff to prioritize shipments and meet customer demands. 
  • Monitors product stock levels as well as warehouse bin locations
  • Assists warehouse staff to assure proper flow of off-system purchases and vendor managed inventories (cartons, hardware).
  • Reviews daily order backlog and following identified order priorities and commitments
  • Crosstrain to support shipping, receiving, and other positions as requested warehouse manager
  • Support Drainage Operations Manager to execute cross-functional activities and special projects.
  • Monitors equipment following daily PM checklist and reporting all equipment and safety concerns to management
  • Other duties assigned by manager

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed to operate all material handling equipment required to fulfill established duties
  • Packaging and shipping
  • Cycle Counts
  • Physical and scale counting
  • Pull sales and DRP Orders
  • System transaction (material movements, etc.)
  • Use Scanners in daily operations, cycle counting, physical inventory, etc.
  • Visual quality inspection
  • Basic computer skills to perform data look ups, computer related transactions
  • Ability to read, write and understand English
  • Proficient math skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing/distribution facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Spindale, NC location. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
