TVO Developer

We are looking for an experienced TVO Developer to work on a TV Ordering application that enables customers to order selected TV options and manage TV box upgrades directly through their television.

The application is essentially a web application whose pages are rendered on a TV box.

• Develop and maintain application components using Java, JavaScript, Spring and Hibernate
  
  
• Work with JSP, Thymeleaf, GraphQL, RESTful Web Services and SOA Web Services
  
  
• Work with Oracle Database and PL/SQL
  
  
• Support build, deployment and release activities using tools such as Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere
  
  
• Work in a DevOps mode, with increasing involvement in the operational and release activities of the components owned by the team
  
  
• Collaborate within Agile squads alongside a Product Owner (PO) and Scrum Master (SM)
  
  
• Use monitoring tools such as Nagios
  
  
• Currently, the role does not require on-call support outside business hours. However, this may change in the future, and candidates should be willing to participate if required

Java, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, JSP, Thymeleaf, GraphQL,

RESTful Web Services, SOA Web Services, Oracle, PL/SQL,

IntelliJ IDEA, SOAP UI, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Apache Tomcat,

IBM WebSphere Application Server 9 and Nagios

Experience: 10+ years

Preferred Background: Candidates from product-based companies with experience working in a DevOps and Agile environment.
