Summary:
As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves executing comprehensive data migration tasks by extracting, transforming, and loading data into designated target systems following established guidelines. The role includes building, running, and validating migration scripts and processes to maintain high standards of data quality and consistency. Throughout the day, the engineer collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure smooth data transitions and addresses any challenges that arise during the migration lifecycle, ensuring that the data is accurately and efficiently moved to support business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the development and optimization of migration strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align migration activities with overall project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in designing and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Strong understanding of data validation techniques to ensure data integrity during migration.
- Ability to develop and troubleshoot complex migration scripts and workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and scalable data processing frameworks.
- Competence in collaborating with diverse teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize migration outcomes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
