Job Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will support the delivery of major enhancements to client's ITD Operations products, including the Management Approval System (MAS) and Board Paper Library (BoardLib), particularly in connection with SovOps integration. You will play a key role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, defining solutions, and supporting quality assurance activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst who will work closely with business users, product owners, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements. The role will support Agile product delivery through requirements elicitation, process analysis, solution design, backlog refinement, and user acceptance testing. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Mandaluyong City.
The ideal candidate has extensive business analysis experience, strong knowledge of financial services and business processes, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should be highly analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing complex requirements and competing priorities.
What You’ll Do
Conduct requirements elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions
Analyze, document, and refine business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
Develop and maintain project requirements and supporting artifacts in Azure DevOps
Review and document existing and future-state business processes
Work with product owners to refine, prioritize, and maintain product backlogs
Collaborate with business users, developers, vendors, and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle
Define business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
Analyze business requirements and develop potential solution options for stakeholder review
Support the integration of business requirements across systems and applications within the enterprise's IT ecosystem
Coordinate with QA teams to define and validate test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist business users throughout the testing process
Monitor and coordinate the resolution of application defects and issues
Define and validate acceptance criteria to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements
Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, solution discussions, testing activities, and stakeholder meetings
Communicate requirements, risks, dependencies, and delivery considerations clearly to technical and business stakeholders
What You’ll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in business analysis, including at least 5 years in a senior business analyst role
At least 5 years of experience in the banking, accounting, or financial services sector
At least 7 years of experience designing and documenting business processes
At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing of IT applications
Strong experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management
Strong understanding of project management and software development lifecycles
Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management, iterations, user stories, and supporting documentation
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, Dynamics 365, and Power BI
Knowledge of ITIL best practices
Proven vendor management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills
Preferred:
Experience with government procurement processes and contract lifecycle management
Experience in account or sales management processes
Understanding of ADB development processes
Experience working with enterprise business applications and system integrations
Experience supporting products involving financial, accounting, or management approval processes
Experience working with both technical and business stakeholders in a multicultural environment
