Position Overview
H.B. Fuller is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing operations in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused environment. This role is responsible for preparing materials, operating production equipment, conducting quality checks, and packaging finished products according to established procedures. The position plays an important role in maintaining production targets while ensuring compliance with quality and EHS standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare raw materials and packaging materials according to production requirements.
- Transport materials to designated production areas and document process start/end times.
- Operate processing equipment in accordance with work instructions and procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintain established production rates.
- Conduct initial product testing and release activities to verify compliance with specifications.
- Inspect labels and packaging materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to requirements.
- Package finished products in accordance with H.B. Fuller quality standards.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with all quality, safety, operational, and EHS procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: No prior manufacturing or production experience required.
- Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Skills: Ability to read and follow work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
- Work Authorization/Availability: Ability to work assigned shifts.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Skills: Basic English reading and communication skills.
- Certifications: Manufacturing, production, or workplace safety training is preferred.
- Skills: Familiarity with quality standards and EHS compliance requirements.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
