Position Summary:

The Center for REALTOR® Development (CRD), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), is seeking an innovative Manager, Learning and Digital Design to shape engaging, high-impact learning experiences for real estate professionals. This role is perfect for a creative and detail-oriented learning professional who thrives on designing engaging courses, repurposing educational content, and driving the evolution of modern learning solutions. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), vendors, and cross-functional teams to create high-quality courses, webinars, and learning content that aligns with instructional design best practices and industry trends. At CRD, we’re dedicated to shaping the future of real estate education. If you’re passionate about designing impactful learning experiences and driving digital transformation in education, we’d love to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the modernization of legacy educational content into engaging, learner-centered digital learning experiences.
  • Design, develop, launch, and manage high-quality online learning solutions using Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, LMS platforms, Adobe, and related learning and video creation technologies.
  • Own the full content lifecycle, including course creation, maintenance, optimization, large-scale revisions, redesigns, publishing, and ongoing content governance.
  • Transform learning content into interactive experiences that incorporate: applied practice, learner feedback, authentic assessment, scenario-based learning decision-making activities, knowledge reinforcement interactive learning tools such as job aids, case studies, and performance support resources.
  • Support the growth of a holistic learning ecosystem that integrates formal learning, informal learning, AI role-play systems, bite-sized learning, webinars, and social learning experiences.
  • Establish and maintain content governance frameworks, instructional design standards, quality expectations, and scalable development processes across the CRD learning ecosystem.
  • Define and operationalize what constitutes a strong educational content partner within the CRD ecosystem, including partner evaluation criteria, content acceptance standards, and LMS readiness expectations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, instructors, facilitators, vendors, contractors, and external partners to design and deliver learning experiences aligned to CRD standards and learner needs.
  • Manage external vendors, contractors, and SMEs from concept development through content production, launch, and delivery.
  • Convert live and recorded webinars into structured digital learning experiences with clear learning objectives, assessments, interactive elements, and supporting resources.
  • Work with instructors and facilitators to strengthen webinar engagement, learner participation, and instructional effectiveness.
  • Analyze existing educational assets including courses, webinars, videos, guides, and supplemental materials to identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, and evolving into new learning experiences.
  • Apply instructional design, adult learning, learning science, and learning experience design (LXD) principles to improve learner engagement, knowledge retention, and instructional effectiveness.
  • Leverage learner data, analytics, and engagement insights to identify trends, optimize course offerings, improve learning experiences, and inform content decisions across multiple learning formats.
  • Implement and champion best practices related to LMS functionality, accessibility, branding, digital learning operations, and instructional design quality.
  • Work closely with the Director of Learning & Development to execute CRD’s educational strategy, ensuring alignment with learner needs, business priorities, and organizational goals.
  • Serve as a senior learning consultant and key contributor within the CRD Education team by collaborating across initiatives, sharing best practices, providing thought leadership and constructive feedback, contributing to innovation, continuous improvement, and a culture of learning and professional development.
  • Balance learner experience, educational quality, business priorities, and operational scalability when recommending learning solutions and ecosystem improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7-10 years of experience in instructional design and digital learning programs.
  • Advanced expertise with LMS platforms including digital learning publishing (SCORM and xAPI), course landing guidelines, and learner experience best practices.
  • Strong technical skills with Articulate360 (Storyline360 and Rise360) and other course authoring tools.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, learning science, and learning experience design (LXD).
  • Experience establishing or improving content governance, instructional design standards, quality frameworks, scalable development processes, or learning ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and interactive design.
  • High proficiency with video design tools (Adobe, Camtasia) preferred.
  • Experience working with and effectively managing stakeholder and vendor relationships.
  • Results-oriented, with high attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problems.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000.
