Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

• Operation of weedeater, edger, mower, chainsaw, trencher, tractors, and any other equipment needed for turf and bed care.
• Caring for, repotting, deadheading and pruning and planting of trees, plants and shrubs
• Weeding, watering, mulching and trenching of bedding and pond care.
• Chemical application for pest and weed control.
• Onsite trash and debris collection.
• Operation of motorize cart.
• Assistance on special projects and special events.
• Willingness to work as a team within Golf Department and other departments when needed.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers fellow team members.
• Any and all duties as assigned by our Supervisor or a member of management.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Must be physically able to work in extreme cold and heat conditions. Must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs, bend climb, and hold equipment for long periods of time.  Work in all weather conditions.  Some weekend work required.   Some turf experience preferred. 
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate both heavy and light equipment. Must be able to use hand tools in a safe manner.  Ability to withstand excessive heat and humidity.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The team member is frequently required to climb or balance. The team member is occasionally required to taste or smell. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The team member is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
