Position Summary
The Labor Management Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of labor data within the Easy Metrics Labor Management System. This position partners closely with Operations, HR, and Payroll to ensure labor hours are properly coded, reporting is accurate, and productivity metrics reflect actual operational performance. The coordinator monitors labor utilization, investigates discrepancies, provides reporting to leadership, and supports continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
· Monitor the Easy Metrics Labor Management System daily to ensure accurate labor reporting across all operational departments.
· Audit employee labor hours to verify associates are accurately coded to the appropriate departments, work centers, and activities.
· Investigate and resolve missing labor transactions, incorrect labor coding, and timekeeping discrepancies.
· Partner with Operations Supervisors to promptly correct labor coding issues and maintain reporting accuracy.
· Validate labor data prior to the distribution of operational and leadership reports.
· Ensure labor hours accurately reflect department productivity, utilization, and performance metrics.
· Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly labor performance reports for Operations leadership.
· Analyze labor utilization trends and identify opportunities to improve labor allocation, productivity, and operational efficiency.
· Maintain the integrity of labor management data through routine audits and quality assurance reviews.
· Support payroll accuracy by identifying, researching, and escalating labor and timekeeping issues as appropriate.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for Easy Metrics reporting, labor management inquiries, and system-related questions.
· Train and support supervisors on proper labor coding procedures and Easy Metrics best practices.
· Collaborate with Operations, HR, Payroll, and IT to investigate and resolve labor reporting discrepancies.
· Recommend process improvements based on labor data analysis and operational trends.
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in labor management, operations support, reporting, payroll, warehouse administration, or a related role.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
· Experience working with labor management systems, timekeeping systems, or workforce management software preferred.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
· Experience using Easy Metrics Labor Management System.
· Experience with payroll or timekeeping systems such as Paylocity.
· Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
· Knowledge of labor productivity metrics, labor planning, and workforce analytics.
· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query or Power BI experience.
· Experience creating operational reports and dashboards.
