Description

"This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner." This position is responsible for always performing job in a safe manner. This position is responsible for recording raw weight information while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

This position requires team member to always perform Record Raw Weights tasks in a safe manner. This position requires team member to be responsible for recording raw weight information, recording trim drop weights under associated primal insuring proper inventory control and rotation. This position requires ability to drive or learn to operate a mule/forklift. This position requires organizational skills and ability to perform job in an effective and efficient manner. This position requires the ability to work independently. This position requires the team member to have knowledge and understanding of product specifications.  This position requires team member perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

 

 

Requirements

To be considered for position, Team Member must possess the following:

Must have successfully completed probationary period

Basic math skills to successfully calculate weight discrepancies, weight changes for example

Computer skills to successfully enter data into spreadsheets and the inventory management systems

Must have excellent attendance record of (6 points or less) and maintain 9 points or less

Excellent Safety record in the last 12 months (24 months for Core Safety violations)

Good communication skills required – bilingual skills a plus

Must be willing to work overtime and weekends/ holidays if required.
