Therefore, we are seeking a candidate with a good level of enthusiasm and tenacity to join our dynamic team The role:As a Health, Safety and Fire Advisor, you will be focused on driving continuous improvement whilst maintaining and improving the level of personal service our clients have come to expect. Covering locations all across the country most of your time will be spent out at client’s locations managing your own time, with the rest of the time spent in the office/ at home completing all the relevant paper work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Undertake H&S and fire risk assessments on both commercial and residential property sites, including internal and external areasConduct site inspections and provide detailed reports of findings with recommendations for the client to implement.Assist clients with the development of a H&S Management System.Ensure clients are compliant with current legislation using the relevant guides and standards applicableKeep up to date with legislative requirements in regards to how they impact your role Qualifications and Experience preferred:NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent level 3 qualification)NEBOSH National General Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management (or equivalent level 3 qualificationWould consider ability to demonstrate suitable knowledge and/or experience in sector for right candidate expect knowledge base:The assessment of risk from fireApplicable LegislationAppropriate GuidanceBehaviour of fire in premisesEffects of fire on people and behaviour of people in fire situationsMeans of EscapeFire PreventionFire ProtectionManagement of Fire SafetyBenefits:Contributory Pension SchemeCompetitive salaryOn-site Parking23 days holiday plus bank holidays off Job Types: Full-time, Permanent9AM-5PM working hours (including paid lunch hour)Monday – Friday Work remotely: yesa full UK Drivers Licence is required and a company van will be provided.
