Position Overview:

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. • Competitive Pay range: min$24-max$25 per hour
• Full time: Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5 pm and Friday from 8am to 3pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress
• Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Cordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
• Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
• Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• Associate or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required)
• Radiology certification (Required)
• Must have at least 1 year of hands on experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
