A Bellman greets hotel guests, assists with luggage (carrying, storing, delivering), escorts them to rooms, explains room features, arranges transportation, provides local info, and maintains lobby cleanliness, serving as a crucial first and last contact to ensure a positive guest experience. They handle tasks like delivering messages, responding to requests, and ensuring smooth check-ins/outs.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Greeting & Assistance: Warmly welcome guests, assist with door service, and help with check-in/out.
- Luggage Handling: Load, unload, transport, and store guest luggage efficiently.
- Room Orientation: Escort guests to rooms, explain room features (A/C, TV, phone, minibar), and report maintenance issues.
- Information & Recommendations: Provide directions, hotel details, and local attraction information.
- Transportation: Arrange taxis, shuttles, or other transportation for guests.
- Lobby Maintenance: Keep the lobby, entrance, and bell carts clean, tidy, and organized.
- Message & Delivery Service: Deliver mail, packages, flowers, and other items to guest rooms.
- Shuttle Service: The hotel will have a shuttle that travels within 3 miles of the hotel.
